How Helpful Is A Mobile Beer Cooler Fridge To

No outdoor function is quite full without refreshing, ice chilled beer. For most folks, creating extra space in the kitchen refrigerator or filling a pack of iceboxes with ice will be sufficient for a backyard barbecue or other family event. Event coordinators however, are often better off through a less ad hoc solution of storing and cooling beer, like a beer cooler fridge. It can be tempting to simply use many coolers with ice as an inexpensive solution. But using such ice coolers may present serious restrictions. As an example, many of the coolers on the marketplace have a rather limited storage capacity that is further decreased by the need to keep it stocked with ice. So for all but the smallest functions, it may be needed to alternate the coolers, since it can use up to 20 minutes to chill bottled beer sufficiently. This act of repeatedly cycling and reshuffling the coolers with the chilled beer and leaving those with the beer still cooling adds a considerable organisational burden to the catering workers. In a busy function, the probabilities of the rotation system breaking down increase considerably, resulting in a situation where no chilled beer is available at all! It is therefore much more suitable to have on hand a large beer cooler fridge. The capacity of such coolers is far larger than the majority of ice-based cooling systems, so restocking it can be spaced out at much longer intervals. Using a beer cooler fridge does not always rule out the use of Ice coolers either. Most event planners realize that the sight of beer bottles on a bed of ice is rather visually desirable. It also saves the catering workers time, because the patrons can see exactly what is available and simply take the item that suits them. As the ice bed runs low, moving the already chilled beer from the beer cooler fridge is not problematic, as the bottles will already be chilled. But what about rotation? It is much simpler to monitor what beer is actually chilled and which isn't. Rather than going cooler by cooler, the catering staff can simply take the chilled beer from the lowest shelf in the beer cooler, and then replace them with warm beer. As they work their way up, they can continue to substitute the chilled bottles with warm ones as each rack is emptied. As soon as the top shelf has been used, they can start at the bottom again. Considering that even mid sized beer coolers normally hold more than 50 bottles per rack, by the time they have worn down the supply of chilled beer, the replacement bottles ought to be totally chilled. So for reduced weight, ease of transportation, and simpler stock changing, a mobile beer cooler is clearly the best option for coordinators of large functions.
